Poweramp for android allows skipping by album which is really useful when you’re in random playback and decide you don’t feel like listening to the current album. Could just be an extra pair of forward/back buttons outside of the song skip buttons.

This has been added to the app in 2.2 (but not yet in CarPlay). Swipe to see the Now Playing screen on the right, and long tap the Next button, then select "Skip Album".

Hi @Jackie, you can skip the current album and go to another random one by tapping/pressing the shuffle button, which is the one with the two dice. That's available in the app, in CarPlay, and on some Home Screen widgets.
