I think the size of the selected album is too large on macOS. I like to see many albums at the same time, so I make the window quite large. The selected album then still takes up a quarter to a third of the window, due to the 16:1 (4x4) size ratio. I like the ratio more when the window is narrow, when it becomes 9:1 (3x3).
