macOS: long delay between clicking on an album and it becoming selected

I’m using the macOS app. 747 albums in my “My Library” view, all coming from Apple Music.
When I click on an album, it takes about 1s before the orange "selected" frame shows around it.
This makes the app feel terribly laggy. Based on how I interact with other native macOS apps, I would expect this to show immediately.

The fix is lived in 1.0.3, which is now available on the Mac App Store or via in-app updates.

Good catch, thanks for the report. I found the issue. (The double click handler interfered with the selection.) Shall be fixed soon.
