Apple Music does already reflect whenever Longplay plays songs from your Apple Music library, however it can take a little while. In particular, it can take a while to, say, show up in the Music app on your Mac.

That means this is already reflected in smart playlists, and also in the year in the review. It is however not reflected in Apple Music's "Recently Played" list.
