Play in Apple Music again

Before the current update, I used to select an album in long play and it would play in Apple Music. I really liked this because it would keep Apple Music informed on my favourite styles of music for suggestions, it would be easy to transition sound output to smart speakers and tvs that have Apple Music players, and it felt like long play was more of an extension of Apple Music. Now that is has its own player that it is an app that is competing with Apple Music instead of working so wonderfully with it like it did before. I miss this feature very much, please bring it back!

Also note that many features aren’t available through the Longplay player. I can’t favorite or unfavorite a song from the app, and definitely not from the Control Center, Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. I can’t add the song to a playlist. It’s unclear to me whether Dolby Atmos or Lossless audio is supported.

I wish it worked this way, too. I prefer the Apple Music player and I wish I could use it, with Longplay controlling it.

Noted.
Though I want to point out that Apple Music does stay informed of your listening when listening through Longplay. This impacts your recommendations in Apple Music and your yearly rewind, though it doesn't appear under "Recently Played" in the Music app.
AirPlay is also supported either via your phone's Control Center or the AirPlay button in Longplay's Now Playing screen (on the right of the Album Wall).
