"Smart" collections

Putting Downloaded under a Smart Collections heading without any way to create any others (yet) is _very_ confusing/misleading - definitely made me think I was just failing to figure out how to access UI to create another
and frankly it "tricked" me into spending 7 USD on iOS version pretty immediately after spending 25 AUD on gumroad ,assuming that absence of that flow was a beta issue only and could be addressed (then synced in) this way
In the end I can afford the money and am mostly happy to support a second indie dev working on album-appreciation, but given that I was already happy with [and you are competing with] Albums on iOS (which is _well_ polished, which is ... not how I'd described Longplay based on first impression[1]) and was mostly just looking to use the mac app while I wait for Adam to get there with Albums ... I'm a little salty 🧂

Also, this is a niche ~request / under-utilized feature, but I have "Full Album", "EP", "Single", "DJ Set", etc. in the "Grouping" field of my Apple Music library
Which is either not indexed by Longplay or is (just) not exposed as a field in the shortcut-based psuedo-collection

Took a first step to this in 2.2, where you can use Shortcuts to specify complex filters on albums (not yet playlists) and then view those in Longplay like an ad-hoc collection.
The just released 2.2.1 update includes the "Smart Collection" examples Shortcut which demonstrates this. They can be found in the in-app Settings under Siri & Shortcuts.

Agreed. Plus playlist.

This should go well together with adding a "Search" feature. Will look into that in the near term.
