One of my favorite things about Longplay is its lack of chrome, showing you all your album covers and nothing else, turning your music library into an interactive price of visual art. It’s simple and beautiful. The new collections drop down gets in the way of that. I’d love the ability to get it off the screen somehow.

Perhaps there could be a setting, where the collections drop down menu could be hidden by default, revealed by a swipe down gesture at the top of the main view, similar to the “pull to refresh“ gesture used in other apps? Just an idea.

Mainly I’d just like to be able to hide it. Even if it just scrolled off the top of screen when you started scrolling through your albums.
